So many times and endless years

They come and go so fast

The tears, the hurt, unbearable shame

Yet nothing seems to last

The root cause on the inside

What they see is on the out

Alcohol, drugs, destruction

Come on people let me shout

No hope for those around the one

Who has watched the one in pain

She's in, she's out, she's up and down

Some think she's gone insane

Feeling like a mess now, with added abuse

The turmoil and darkness are near

Incredibly weak, unable to walk

I know nothing but hiding and fear

My life as I knew it is broken

Scattered pieces of rubble and glass

Oh God I beg you to help me

This confusion and sadness won't pass

God's grace has always been there

His mercy and His love

At times been blinded by His light

All glory from above

But this is where our God steps in

And shows himself to ALL

Another life saved just in time

Before the final fall
